REGULAR ACTIVITIES

YOGA ON A DONATION BASIS

According to our guiding mission "Mindful living" we offer regular activities, which build inner resources. It is important to us that all people – no matter in which financial circumstances they are – have the opportunity to use these activities for themselves. On a donation basis means that everyone pays what they think is appropriate for the lesson and what they are financially capable of.

It doesn't matter how old or young you are, how big or how heavy your weight is. Your yoga practice is as unique as you are.

Every Tuesday evening.

RIPA AWARENESS MEDITATION

«Training to live well with anyone
means training to live well with any aspect of your mind»
Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche

“Ripa Awareness Meditation” is a simple and effective method that helps stabilise the mind, using the Shamatha technique or calm-abiding meditation; once the mind has settled, the application of Vipassana meditation tools allows the practitioner to gain access to more subtle aspects of his mind, thus allowing him a true exploration of the nature of phenomena and reality.

The method was conceived by the master of Tibetan Buddhism, Gyetrul Jigme Rinpoche to benefit his students around the world.
The practice of Shamata meditation aims at familiarising participants with the meditation technique of Shamata, or calm-abiding meditation, a traditional Buddhist method that uses the breath as a support to calm the mind.

The practice of this type of meditation results in a more calm, focused, and stable mind. Once stability settles in, Participants are guided through a methodic and progressive approach of exploration of the mind, following the traditional Buddhist Sutra of The Four Foundations of Mindfulness.

It is an ideal practice for those wishing to discover meditation for the first time, and those wishing to continue exploring their practice.
