Join for a weekend retreat in Bern. This retreat will be held in a small container allowing us to better connect as a group. The focus will be on movement and mindfulness



About the Retreat

This will be a shorter retreat but not less powerful. This retreat is aimed at people who find it difficult to commit to longer retreats who take place abroad or further from home. I want to offer you the opportunity to participate and get a retreat feeling without having to take days off from work. And maybe you’ll come to love the experience.

There will be a morning and evening yoga class every day. The morning Sādhanā includes a movement practice (asana) and is complimented by meditation (30 min daily), journaling and/or pranayama. During the retreat I will invite you to enjoy periods of silence and contemplation. This will help you settle into the energies of the practice, of the nature around you and become more calm. If the weather is nice I will also take you on a mindful walk through the surrounding forests.



Delicious Food

100% in line with the yogic philosophy the food during the retreat is vegetarian (vegan options available). The kitchen teams will take us on a culinary journey that combines imaginative dish presentation, local and seasonal products. The retreat price includes three daily meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. During the day you will also have access to tea, water and fresh fruit, coffees are extra. The retreat center has it’s own well from which we can enjoy pure and fresh spring water.

On the day of arrival the first meal will be dinner and on the day of departure the last meal will be lunch.



Activities & Goodies

Due to the shorter duration of the retreat, the focus will be placed on movement and mindfulness (various forms of meditation). During this retreat I want to share with you some simple but powerful techniques that I have come to love over the years I have spent pursuing the path of yoga and movement.

In addition it is possible to book a private session, a private session can include spiritual guidance, physical assistance for your practice, a body reading, or a restorative massage. Please get in touch if you are interested in any of these offerings.

About Lars

As a teacher, I am passionate about Yoga, AcroYoga and Handstand. I love to guide you on an exploration of your body. I want to help you understand and feel comfortable in your own body.

Sharing and guiding you through in a retreat setting is my passion. I want the retreat to become more than just a holiday where you happen to do a little bit of yoga. A retreat can become a very powerful container. It is a container that is co-created by every participant.

I think it is worth addressing some points that I think are important to create such a container that is conducive for spiritual practice, for the practice of yoga. Please honour these guidelines if you decide to book a yoga retreat with me.
