Gurumahan is a renowned Master. His vision is to achieve universal peace through individual peace and individual peace through Kundalini Meditation.

His unique vision is that he has simplified the yoga practices so that a person living a normal family and worldly life can get the benefits of meditation.

To fulfil this purpose, he performs 21 days of penance in a pyramid every year in the month of December since 1990 for Universal Welfare.

He also established the Universal Peace Foundation in Thirimurthi Hills, South India, India's ISO certified spiritual organisation. The Universal Peace Foundation works on the principle of observing 1 minute silence for the welfare of an individual through which his family, society, country and the whole world can attain peace.

Guru Mahan was honoured with the "Ambassador for Peace" award by the Universal Peace Federation, Malaysia, a unit of the UN, on 20 June 2011.
